Hostal Sans - Barcelona

All good - we loved this budget hotel - the food was good and the staff were fabulously friendly and amiable. The room with window watching on another window. Favourable and unbeatable venue's location, as it was near a subway station. ...  

Hotel's location was particularly good and excellent as it was near the train station.

The staff was friendly. The air conditioning worked perfectly.

The building felt a bit fatigued .

Very basic hotel but usefull for one or two nights stay. Friendly staff. Safe garage. Very close to metro and some small restaurants/cafees.

They do nit serve breakkfast.

It is the best what you can wish for this price, I think. Clean, safe (I had room with private bathroom). Great location. Very good was every thing.

Good comms with staff, very close to train station, many restaurants nearby, cheap and simple hotel.

Slightly claustrophobic feel to hotel and dull rooms. poor breakfast facilities.

Central location was a plus. We where offered delicious breakfasts with vending machines and also a great view.

broken elevator cause alot of noise if your room is closer to thje elevator. had to change a room.

Convenient location near central rail station (actually, that was a plan). Otherwise, more suitable for backpackers (we've seen quite many of them).

Smell of sigarettes though we requested non-smoking room.

Had an easy check-in and a cozy room with a great location near train stations. Enjoyed the daily room cleaning and the comfy setup.

Hostal Sans offers good service for its price. It's the best choice for people who are going to have a bery tight program in the city and stay in the hotel obut 6 hours a day.

Could be more comfortable: - jalousi are impossible to open - it's located near a school, so in the mornings it's rather noisy - spotted several cockroaches But yet again, the price and location were for me ideal

Great value, clean rooms with own bathroom. 50metre walk from metro - 2 lines (one that goes straight into The Ramblas and city centre). Takes 10 minutes to get into town.

Internet was not very strong, although different Internet for each level it kept cutting out. If you missed last metro you need to get taxi back from town centre or walk. Taxi was € 10 back from town at 1am.

Great location and being on the fourth floor with some good views

The room could have been cleaner in terms of the grottiness of the bathroom and marks on the wall etc. There was a leak so every day half of the floor was covered in water in the morning, then vanished after the maid had cleaned the room.....and it desperately needs double glazing due to the traffic noise. And what's up with only one plug in the whole place located in the bathroom?

Very nice,confortable and clean,good stuff there.

They need to change all the handles on the doors, as u cannot turn it from outside, so u have to shut the door, or using the key,but noone bother with the key,so everyone just shut it,so u cannot sleep there, cos it is happening night time and early morning as well:( Piti, cos the hotel nice and clean. I was there 2 times, and both night was the same, I was tired and angry in the morning. But if u dont mind this,than your place,cos really worth the money.

Like everyone said - close to Sants and Placa Espaniya.

Thinking of that, don't forget how much you pay for the hotel in the center of Barcelona. So basically everything was good. A bit noisy and a bit smelly which can be corrected by opening the window when leaving to walk around the city.
